About the Academy
Training professional pilots since 40 years
Aviomar is an internationally appreciated organisation which has been operating on the aviation market since 1982. We offer a wide range of aeronautical activities such as professional and private pilot's training, aerial work, aircraft maintenance and sales.
All flight and maintenance activities are conducted in accordance with the national Italian and European Regulations (EASA) and follow the most strict safety standards, as safety and quality are the primary goals in our activities.
Our operating base is in the centre of Rome at Urbe airport, where our headquarters include several modern and comfortable classes and briefing rooms, one of Italy's largest aircraft fleet amongst flight schools, as well as the latest technology flight simulator, the Alsim ALX.
The training portfolio benefits from an in-house full flight simulator training centre north of Rome. This centre, opened in 2019, features other latest technology simulators including type-specific full-motion devices.
The biggest asset to our organisation though is our specialised staff, unique in the business, which comprises some of the most qualified and appreciated flight and theoretical knowledge instructors in Europe.
Our Flight Academy is open 7 days a week.
