AVIOMAR offers the following modular theoretical courses in “Distance Learning”:

  • PPL(A) - LAPL(A)
  • IR(A)
  • CPL(A)
  • ATPL(A)

The choice to “attend” a distance learning course is ideal for those students who are unable to follow a full time ground course. With an interactive web based training platform students are able to effectively follow the theoretical course wherever they are and at any time of the day, directly from an internet-connected PC.

It is also possible to monitor one’s performance and progress throughout the course with a wide range of progress tests, brush up papers and quick questions.

Our web-based system has been developed by Cranfield Aviation Training School (CATS), a worldwide leader in distance learning training courses and has proven to be extremely successful with thousands of student pilots worldwide.

If you would like to view a demo version of the CBT platform, please click here.

Current regulations require students to attend short in-class sessions where it is possible with the help of our Ground Instructors to perform group exercises and cover in-depth any subject which might not be clear before undertaking the final examinations.

Entry requirements and practical training are identical to equivalent full-time modular courses.
