
Training programmes are available for the conversion of licences issued by ICAO compliant "Third Countries" (i.e. FAA, Australian CASA, CAA South Africa etc.) into the equivalent EASA compliant.
The following is a description of the programmes depending on the EASA licence applied for:
ATPL(A) Licence Conversion Course
Entry requirements: ICAO ATPL with 1500 hours of flight on multi-pilot aeroplanes and 500 on type + 1^ class medical certificate.
Theory: ATPL Distance Learning Course + ATPL theoretical examinations (14 subjects).
Practical: Skill Test on FFS
CPL(A) Licence Conversion Course
Entry requirements: ICAO CPL with 100hrs PIC+ EASA 1^ class medical certificate
Theory: CPL or ATPL Distance Learning Course + CPL or ATPL theoretical examinations
Practical: 12.5 hours on SE (of which 5 may be on FNPTII)
Instrument Rating Conversion Course
Entry requirements: ICAO CPL/IR or PPL/IR + 1^ or 2^ class medical certificate
Theory: IR or ATPL Distance Learning course + IR or ATPL theory examination
Practical: 10 hours on SE (of which 5 may be on FNPTII), or 15 hours on ME (of which 10 may be on FNPTII).
PPL(A) Conversion Course
Entry requirements: ICAO PPL, with an overall experience of at least 100 hours total time + 2^ class medical certificate
Theory: PPL theoretical examinations in the subjects of Human Performance and Limitations and Air Law
Practical: 5 hours of flight on SE (familiarization) + PPL(A) Skill Test
