To register for a pilot training course and to exercise the privileges of any pilot licence, the holder must have a valid Aeromedical certificate released by an authorised AeMC Aeromedical Center.
Medical checks can be of two different levels:
- Class I - for professional pilot licences
- Class II - for private pilot licences
There are three approved AeMCs in Italy located in Rome, Milan, and Bari.
Class I and Class II medical certificates may also be revalidated by private doctors authorised as Aeromedical Examiner (AME). A list of ENAC authorised AME can be found at this link.
On the right-hand side of this page are the details of the AeMC in Rome, Milan, Barcelona, and Athens, where our students generally have their first initial medical check.
The booking of the first medical examination can be arranged by our Flight Academy.
