This Ryanair Mentored course is for modular students holding a PPL(A) and who have completed ATPL theory examinations.


ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

This program is designed for students following a modular training program and satisfies the following:

  • EASA PPL (A) with 170 hrs total time of which 100 hrs PIC
  • Completed EASA ATPL theory exams 
  • EASA Class 1 medical certificate
  • Night Rating
  • Holds an EU / EEA passport with an unrestricted right to live and work in the EU


COURSE STRUCTURE

Students will complete this Ryanair Mentored Training Program comprising of the following modules and practical training:

Theoretical Knowledge

  • UPRT (Upset Prevention and Recovery Training)
  • Multi Engine Piston (MEP) Class Rating
  • Instrument Rating
  • EASA CPL / IR (A) -MEP
  • EASA ATPL Theory
  • EASA Class 1 medical certificate
  • Commercial Pilot License
  • Ryanair APS MCC

Practical Training

  • 40 hours of FNPT II Simulator IFR training
  • 15 hours of IFR ME training on DA42 or PA34
  • 3 hours of Advanced UPRT training
  • 15 hours of CPL training on SE Aircraft
  • 40 hours of APS MCC (see Gateway 2)


DURATION

5 months


LICENSE OR/AND CERTIFICATE OBTAINED

EASA CPL / IR(A) license with ME rating and APS MCC certificate

Gateway 1 courses may commence throughout the year.
