Flight School Staff

Aviomar Flight Academy has been directed by Capt. Riccardo Marano since its foundation in 1982 and is supported by a staff of highly regarded professionals within the European aeronautical sector. The team is composed of flight and ground instructors, language proficiency examiners (TEA/ELP), largely drawn from major airlines such as Alitalia and Ryanair. The organization includes the areas of Management, Planning, Examiners, VFR (Visual Flight Rules) Instructors, IFR (Instrument Flight Rules) Instructors, Type Rating Instructors, Ground Instructors, Maintenance, and Airworthiness, ensuring highly professional training oriented toward excellence. Full airworthiness and maintenance of the entire fleet are ensured by a team of specialized technicians under the direction of Eng. Roberto De Luca.

Consolidated operational experience and continuous analysis of training needs guide the instructors’ activities, enabling the development of carefully tailored training paths based on each trainee’s objectives. Our instructor body operates with high standards of competence, professionalism, and dedication, considering every training session as an opportunity to ensure the highest levels of quality, instructional effectiveness, and safety.

Particular attention is devoted to the development of soft skills and instructional competencies. All instructors participate in initial and recurrent training programs, not only of a technical nature but also focused on instructional, communication, and learning management skills, in line with international best practices in the field of aeronautical training. This approach ensures a high quality of instruction and continuous alignment with the most advanced industry standards.
