Registration for the Aeronautical English Language Proficiency Exam

Information on the test
The Regulation for "Language Proficiency Requirements", requires good proficiency in aviation related English language in order to obtain the English radiotelephony certification. Pilots wanting to fly abroad or in IFR rules in Italy, must demonstrate to have an English language proficiency that reaches at least ICAO level 4, as prescribed in ICAO doc. 9835. This proficiency level needs to be reported on the pilot's licence. The language proficiency certifications are to be renewed periodically (not for level 6), depending on the level obtained (level 4 has 5 years' duration, level 5 has 6 years' duration).

Aviomar is approved as a test centre for the ELPE test (administered internally by Aviomar Flight Academy) by ENAC/EASA.
